How do the disability duties in the Equality Act work in the early years? How do recent cases change our understanding of how behaviour interacts with the Equality Act duties? This training will:
- Explain how the disability duties in the Equality Act work in the early years, including the differences between the duties in schools and early years settings
- Support an understanding of who may count as disabled
- Explore some of the tricky issues linked to managing difficult behaviour
- Draw on real life examples
- Share some of the learning about the best ways of making sure disabled children have positive experiences of early years provision
