Early Years Wales Fly a Kite - Margam Park, Neath Port Talbot

Our Fly a Kite park events (supported by KPMG Foundation) are designed for parents and carers to participate in playful movement together, and aims to showcase the range of support, activities, and opportunities available for families. This is all part of our wider Movement Champion campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of movement in young children, providing huge benefits for their physical and cognitive development.

Families can also enjoy a range of free activities and take-home treats, with an opportunity for children and parents/carers to design and fly their own kite!

Furthermore, we will be joined by Mini First Aid and Booktrust Cymru who will be there to provide information and support relevant to children as well as the parents in attendance.

To keep things relaxed and safe, we’re limiting numbers to 25 families per 30 minute timeslot. Although each family books a 30-minute play session, you’re not restricted to that time. Before or after your session, feel free to explore the information stands, enjoy the park, and meet Awel, our friendly kite mascot!
