Description

Celebrate the final night of Heath Week and venture out into the dusk to track down the night time creatures living on the reserve including moths, nightjar, bats and more.

Cost: Adults £5, child £3 payable on the evening at the start of the event.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Booking essential - but tickets are not required as we will have a list of attendees.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Please bring warm clothing in case temperatures drop. A torch is essential. Insect repellant may be advisable.

East Devon Heath Week - a week of heathland celebration organised in association with East Devon AONB, RSPB, Clinton Devon Estates, Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust, Devon Wildlife Trust and East Devon District Council Countryside.

Joney’s Cross car park is off the A3052 opposite Aylesbeare Common entrance (SY 057 897)
By road: Eight miles (12.8 km) east of Exeter. Six miles (9.5 km) east from the M5 on the A3052. Travel 0.5 mile (0.8 km) past the Halfway Inn, turn right towards Hawkerland and the car park is immediately on the left.
