Description
Unplug Explore Create
You have big creative ideas: you want to bring them to life. Paradise Road Project invites you to relinquish a single day from your hectic schedule to focus on what really matters to you.
A day of inspiration, imagination and motivation in London's East End at The Proud Archivist. This restaurant, bar, gallery and library space on the Regent's Canal is an inspiring venue in which to indulge in delicious food, conversation and boost your creative confidence. We designed this workshop to help you reclaim time to pursue your passion and get focused on how to achieve it. You will be in the company of other curious minds, focusing on sparking ideas and fulfilling your goals.
During your one-day Urban Creativity Workshop you will:
- Unplug: from digital devices, apply digital mindfulness techniques and use the city to inspire you.
- Explore: impulses, priorities, productivity hacks, motivation, how to overcome procrastination and perfectionism.
- Create: get audacious about your creative passion and learn why bold risks pay off; gain practical knowledge to sharpen your creative mind and bring your project to life and completion.
At the end of the day, you will have:
- Enjoyed an Urban Curiosity Walk, allowing you to focus on the world around you: a chance to breathe, get curious and explore your environment in words or images.
- A clear head, from a day of unplugging from all things digital.
- Considered your personal creative process; you will know how to harness and use your creative impulses for best results.
- Become more comfortable with uncertainty and know how to use it in your creative practice.
- A new community of like-minded and curious individuals and an opportunity to continue to connect with them via our Paradise Road Facebook group; you may even have found a collaborator.
- A notebook full of ideas about productivity, time management hacks, creative shortcuts and the germ of some fascinating projects.
- Your own written or sketched portraits inspired by the urban landscape.
- Fresh verve and excitement about your creative process; a new determination to bring it alive.
- A clear action plan, with the practical steps you need to take to bring your project to fruition.
Your ticket includes:
