We teach you the tricks to turn your hand to modern calligraphy whatever your skillset and will guide you step-by-step through our carefully structured lesson plan which will take you through guided exercises, creating the letters of the alphabet and turning them into elegant words.
We’ll build your confidence by gradually adding to your understanding of the techniques which make modern calligraphy so beautiful. By the end of the class you’ll have progressed from making basic strokes to being able to connect letter forms and create your own calligraphic words and phrases.
As well as guiding the whole class with demonstrations and instructions, your tutor will be there to provide you with one-on-one tuition and troubleshooting any issues you may come across.Throughout the workshop you’ll learn about letterforms, use metallics, and try some colour blending. With these techniques in your repertoire, you'll soon be creating greeting cards, party invitations and artworks for your home and loved ones!
