East Midlands Regional Gathering

Join us for Amnesty International’s Regional Conference 2025, a day of discussion, action, and inspiration under the theme "Looking to the Future."

This gathering will bring together activists, experts, and community members to explore pressing human rights issues and reinvigorate local campaigns.

At the centre of the gathering we will be looking at:

• how to implement campaign actions to achieve impact
• how to mobilise / increase LG membership
• how to collaborate / convene/ coalesce

The event will feature in-depth discussions led by Country Coordinators, providing deep dives into Hong Kong, Central America and South America. Amnesty experts will also lead key issue sessions on Palestine (IOPT) and other countries.

Midway through the day, attendees will enjoy a special musical performance by the Syrian Music Trio. The event will conclude with an interactive session, inviting participants to contribute ideas and strategies for the future of local activism.
