Event description
Networking event for senior leaders in the further education, skills and lifelong learning sector in East of England with guest speaker

About this Event

This is an exciting time for the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) and we would like to share with you news of how WLN is changing to support women who are and want to be leaders in the further education, skills and lifelong learning sector and how we can promote equality and inclusivity across the sector.

In 2018 we re-launched WLN with a revitalised commitment promoting intersectional gender equality and to ensuring the sector benefits from the diverse, transformational and talented leaders it needs to achieve a more prosperous, socially just and equitable society.

You are invited to join us for our East of England networking event for senior leaders

What's it about?

This meeting will offer time and space to network with other senior leaders in the East of England, and

  • Hear from our guest speaker, Dr Jan Edrich, CEO-Principal at Eastleigh College, who will share her personal journey to this senior role, giving you an opportunity to ask her questions and generally share experiences of being a woman in this role today. More about Jan below.
  • Learn about the exciting work being done by WLN and what the WLN can do to support you and your organisation.
  • Discuss what else we need to do to increase gender equality and promote more inclusive organisations that work for all.
  • Sign up as a WLN partner and take advantage of future opportunities and the support we provide.

Who's it for?

Senior leaders in the further education, skills and lifelong learning sector.

If you know of a talented and aspiring leader in your organisation who would also like to attend, please bring them with you. If you are unable to attend yourself, please feel free to nominate someone else from your organisation to attend in your place.
