Is there parking available?

Yes, plenty of free parking is available next to the venue entrance. We also encourage car shares where possible.

What if I am looking to arrive by train?

Pick-up and drop-off may be available to and from Darsham Station (demand dependent). Please email marmot@eastsuffolk.gov.uk by Friday 24th October should you wish to take up this offer.

Yes, a buffet lunch will be provided alongside refreshments.

Do I need to bring anything with me on the day?

Please bring a pen and paper for use in the interactive elements of the agenda. You are also welcome to bring any leaflets to promote your service/organisation (no pull up banners please).

About this event

We are excited to invite you to the official launch of East Suffolk’s Marmot Place Programme on Thursday 27th November 2025 at High Lodge, Darsham (IP17 3QT).

The day will include an introduction to the national and local context, led by Professor Sir Michael Marmot, followed by some interactive workshops and key speakers where you can actively engage in the East Suffolk Marmot Place conversation. An agenda will be shared in due course.

Arrival and refreshments will be available from 10am, with a formal start at 10.30am. Please ensure that you let us know within your booking whether you have any accessibility, dietary or travel requirments.
