This event will start with registration and tea/coffee at 18.00 with the main part of the meeting starting at 18.15, there will be a break with refreshments half way through the meetng.
While the Government is fully occupied with Brexit planning there may not be too many legislative changes to employment law. However, the courts and tribunals are still hearing plenty of cases and we have to keep on top of the outcomes. In this seminar we will look at the most significant cases of the previous 12 to 18 months. Speculation about the post Brexit landscape cannot be avoided but it is just speculation. However, it does give us a chance to examine how EU law has shaped our thinking in the workplace.
However, he started his working life in the arts working for 12 years as a manager of orchestras. The subsequent switch to employment lawyer may seem a big shift but there is no experience like working with touring musicians to prepare you for all sorts of personnel issues. He was also involved in collective bargaining negotiations when working in New York. Martin has gained a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of employment and loves the variety this area of law provides.
