Mini Medics First Aid and Defibrillation for Children
This is a very basic introduction to First Aid and Defibrillation aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 13, but it can suit children of any age.
The course is kept at a basic level with no use of confusing terminologies.
The course will show complete respect for the child’s ability, make it educational and practical, and instil the importance of helping someone who is poorly or injured.
3 hours syllabus covered including educational, theoretical and practical teaching sessions.
A range of subjects are covered that are both comprehensive, fun and education to the attendees.
- What is First Aid?
- Recovery position
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Communication and contacting the emergency services
- First Aid kits
- DR ABC
A certificate of attendance is included with the Mini Medic book as a ‘cut-out’ for the child.
A maximum of 24 children can be accommodated on this course and ideally, all children should be a minimum of 7 years of age. However, younger children are permitted.
All children will receive their own fantastic student pack
• 32-page fully illustrated A4 ‘First Aid and Defibrillation for Children’ colour book, including a cut-out ‘Mini Medics’ certificate
• A unique syringe design pen in red or blue or pencil set
• A 4-page worksheet with fun and educational activity
£15 per child for 3 hour session
