'Easter in a Box - The Movie' is a tried and tested resource developed by Bristol Schools Connection. It's been created to support churches to share the Easter story with local school children in a fun, educational way. However, whether you are a church volunteer or a teacher, ‘Easter in a Box – The Movie’ provides an enriching spiritual development and RE experience. The resource is aimed at children in years 3 – 6 and is super flexible in terms of group sizes and numbers of sessions. You can check it out in our video below.
Children unpack the Easter Story from boxes which relate to the different scenes of ‘Easter – The Movie’. We've had amazing feedback since it was first used in 2021.
“I liked being able to act out the different characters and to feel what it was like being part of a crowd shouting.” (Y4 Pupil)
“A fresh, exciting and genuinely interactive way to tell the Easter story!” (Church Volunteer)
“The children loved it and the teachers and teaching assistants have equally raved about its success.” (Head Teacher)
“The sense of engagement was clear by how many interesting conversations occurred.” (Y4 Teacher)
This training session will introduce you to the resource and give opportunity to ask questions.
We are excited to be running this training in partnership wtih Birmingham Schools Connection!
We'd love you to join us!
