An engaging workshop led by Nitu Pasricha-An AfN Registered Public Health Nutritionist with over 15 years’ experience in NHS community health services, and mindful movement facilitator Aditi Kaushavi bringing together two powerful practices: Mindful Eating and Mindful Movement.
Together, they invite you to slow down, and tune in to your body and mind, rediscovering the joy of mindful living-nourishing your body, mind and spirit while supporting a sustainable future.
Part 1 – Mindful Eating with Nitu Pasricha
An engaging session exploring all aspects of Mindful Eating helping you to building a positive connection with food with clarity and confidence. This session will help you to:
- Understand the core principles of mindful eating and why they matter
- Discover a range of health benefits, including improved gut health, better blood sugar regulation, and healthy weight management
- Learn to recognise different types of hunger and tune into your body’s natural hunger and fullness cues
- Gain evidence-based mindfulness strategies to enhance emotional clarity and confidence
- Explore how mindful eating can contribute to a sustainable future by reducing food waste
- Take home practical Mindful Eating handouts to support your journey further
Part 2 – Mindful Movement with Aditi Kaushiva
Move to Thrive is a guided movement experience blending breathwork, intuitive movement, emotional release, and joyful community dance. In this session you will:
* Begin with grounding and breath awareness to arrive fully in the present moment
* Explore gentle, guided, and free-form movement to release physical and mental tension
* Connect with your emotions and move in ways that feel nourishing and freeing
* Close with an uplifting, Bollywood-inspired dance flow — no choreography, just pure joy and celebration
* Leave feeling grounded, energised, and deeply connected to your body
* Take home simple, evidence-based tools and handouts to help you weave mindful movement into everyday life
Aditi’s sessions are accessible to all bodies, abilities, and energy levels - no experience required. You’re welcome to move with what feels right to your body in that moment.
