Are you ready to let go the guilt that goes with eating “bad” foods? Would you like to stop dieting forever and simply just enjoy eating the foods you love? How is your relationship with food impacting the relationship you have with yourself?

Mindful Eating is the practice of eat intuitively and intentionally by bringing attention and awareness back to the present moment. When we experience an awareness of the present moment instead of being lost in our mind, we can tune into what our body really wants and start to observe the patterns of how and why we eat. With mindful eating, we can observe our triggers to overeating and eating when we are not physically hungry.

This Eat with Love: An Introduction to Mindful Eating workshop explores how it is possible to let go of destructive emotional eating patterns in order to cultivate a healthy and more joyful relationship with food. By letting go of the fear, guilt and shame that come with dieting, restricted eating and binges, it is possible to reconnect to our innate inner wisdom and enjoy food once again as a source of fuel and pleasure for the body.


WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

● Mindfulness practices to decrease mindless eating, emotional eating and binge eating

● How to reconnect with your body’s own built-in systems of hunger and fullness.

● How to release yourself from negative judgements about food and your body.

● How to become less reactive and more calm; especially when making food decisions

● How mindful eating is more effective than diets for healthy weight loss

● How to slow down, savour and more fully taste and enjoy food.

This is an interactive and collaborative session, led by Mind Beyond Founder and mindfulness expert, Amber Jane McCormick. You will have the opportunity connect with others in a safe space and reflect on the type of change you would like to cultivate within your own life.

In order to create an intimate and interactive session, group numbers will be kept to a minimum. Please book in advance.
