Description

The conference will include clinical skills workshops and service user presentations. It will be relevant for Psychiatrists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Dietitians, Researchers, Students and any other professionals with an interest in eating disorders.

First keynote speaker: Dr. Kathleen Fitzpatrick - Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, will give the following talk: ‘Everything you wanted to know about Adolescent Focused Therapy but were afraid to ask’

Second keynote speaker: Dr. Kate Tchanturia - Clinical Psychologist in the Eating Disorder Service, South London and Maudsley Foundation NHS Trust, will give the following talk: 'How can the latest findings in neuropsychology influence our clinical practice’

Workshops to include subjects of mentalization, managing risk, gender identity and dietetics for people with eating disorders
