Makers Academy are pleased to invite you to a private preview screening of the Stemettes documentary.
Eat.Sleep.STEM.Repeat. - filmed at the 2015 Outbox Incubator. You'll be some of the first to see it and will be at the very start of the #EatSleepSTEM phenomena - reflecting a new reality of young women in STEM. All whilst enjoying some free food.
We'll watch the 30 minute film and will then hear from a panel on the importance of this topic, action being taken, and what we can all do.
In 2015, just 14% of those working in the UK's STEM industries were women. At a time when technology is propelling our society forward, driving our economies, enabling communication globally and dictating the future, the industry itself is crucially missing key demographics in its workforce Eat. Sleep.STEM.Repeat is a revealing documentary about young female tech entrepreneurs and their journey against these shocking industry statistics.
