How to accelerate the development of social innovation within companies?
Ashoka has been working for a few years on the topic of co-creation and development of social innovation within companies. Indeed, Ashoka has identified social business co- creation as a key lever to develop innovations with high social impact. Through the Making More Health Partnership with Boeringher Ingelheim (BI), Ashoka aims to hybridize models of social entrepreneurs with those of BI and to engage BI’ collaborators on the path to agility and societal innovation. This is a great case study to show how businesses can integrate social innovation at the heart of their business, explore how to truly become accelerators of solutions addressing major societal challenges and develop best practices on topics ranging from social value measurement to business models transformation, talent development and new modes of organization.
