About this event

If you’re an author considering self-publishing an ebook, finding out how to go about it, what can realistically be achieved and what your options are can be a daunting prospect. So from the UK’s most widely-recommended self-publishing services providers comes Ebooks for Beginners – a session held via Zoom, hosted by staff from Matador (Troubador’s self-publishing imprint).

Designed to be a beginners guide to publishing an ebook, the session will look at all things to consider before publishing an ebook, from cover design to ebook production, to selling and marketing your ebook. We will look at how you can make your ebook available through all of the major ebook retailers, such as Amazon, Apple, Google Play and Kobo, as well as more widely through libraries and subscription services.

At the end of the event, we hope you will have a far better understanding of what a commitment self-publishing an ebook can be, and an appreciation of the freedom and excitement that self-publishing brings with it. (This event is not aimed at current Matador and Book Guild authors, who should arrange meetings with staff as required.)
