Urethral obstruction is seen frequently in both cats and dogs. We must prioritise not only relieving the physical obstruction but also managing electrolyte disorders, acid-base derangements and restoring renal function in the face of an AKI. This is achieved alongside efforts to stabilise shock, administering appropriate analgesia and prioritising urgent diagnostics, all of which will be discussed in this session.
If you have any questions, please contact info@swiftreferrals.co.uk for assistance. We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
