Bournemouth University’s Computing Department would like to invite you to the above event. The Employers Placement Pitch and Group Networking event aims to:

- Enable local employers to pitch their undergraduate placement opportunities to our Level 5 students

- Meet with our Level 5 undergraduate students on an informal basis

The format and timings* of the event is as follows:

16:30 – 17:00 – Registration and Set Up

17:00 – 17:15 – Welcome and Introductions

17:15 – 18:00 – Employers Placement Pitch (each employer will be given 2 minutes to pitch their placement role)

18:00 – 19:00 – Group Speed Networking followed by Refreshments and General Networking – Students will be invited to rotate around the employers for a Group Speed Networking slot of 2 – 4 minutes. *To be confirmed.

We believe that this event would offer your organisation a great opportunity to promote your placement role(s) and meet our students in an informal setting before they make their placement applications.

Once you have confirmed your space, we will contact you for further information plus your placement advert if you aren’t already advertising it with us. We hope that you will be able to join us for this on campus event on the 7 December 2022 and meet your potential placement student for Summer 2023.
