Crafting Eco-systems through Soundscapes Interactions: a participatory sound exploration workshop
Join us for an immersive sonic workshop that brings the richness of sonic ecosystems indoors.
Equipped with electronic modules, small recorders, exploratory tools, and instruments personally curated by Boris Allenou, you will engage with Soundplay Projects' workshop space in new and surprising ways. Together, we will discover how everyday objects, architectural details, and simple materials can resonate, transform, and interact to create evolving soundscapes.
Through playful tapping, scratching, and activating surfaces and objects, participants will craft unique layers of sound while reflecting on ecological concerns and nurturing their sonic creativity.
Our journey begins with a short introduction, guided listening exercises, and a presentation of the modules (around 30 minutes). This will be followed by a collective exploration of the space, where participants experiment with sound-making, recording, and interactive sonic interventions. Over the course of two hours, you will dive deeper into sonic investigations, transforming the workshop room into a living, collaborative sound ecosystem.
