What stories lie behind the walls of Dungannon Workhouse?

Join historian Dr Ciarán Reilly (Maynooth University / RTÉ’s The Great Famine) for an evening uncovering the powerful and often heartbreaking history of the Dungannon Poor Law Union, serving Donaghmore, Moy, Coalisland, Pomeroy, Benburb and beyond.

Through moving accounts and new research, Dr Reilly connects the local experience of the Great Famine to Ireland’s wider story from the townlands of Tyrone to the emigrant trails abroad, history that began here and still echoes across generations.
