About this event
I am delighted to share that I am currently an artist in residence at the Salisbury Centre, working alongside an inspiring team of collaborators: Jennifer Steel, Luke Sutherland, Rasa Kazenaite, Marion Geoffray, Natalya McDonalds, and Lucas Chih-Peng Kao. Together, we are engaged in the "Echoes of Land" project during its Research and Development phase, exploring eco-performance and outdoor creative education to foster ecological awareness and a deeper connection with nature.
As part of this journey, I am pleased to offer two Laboratory sessions:
“Echoes of Land Project | Lab”
Thursdays: 25th September and 2nd October
Time: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Location: The Salisbury Centre (Garden/Studio), 2 Salisbury Rd, EH16 5AB
These sessions will focus on place-responsive movement practices. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with ideas and develop scores for space-responsive performance-making and creative learning, specifically tailored for children and young adults. The sessions are open to both professionals and community members who are passionate about performing arts and climate action.
Please wear comfortable layers (including waterproofs), as we are prepared for the possibility of getting a bit muddy or adapting to the weather. If outdoor conditions become unsuitable, we will move indoors to the Art Room or Studio.
