About this event

This training is aimed at practitioners working with children, young people and families at schools, colleges, early years settings or alternate provisions in Birmingham who contribute towards early help and prevention.

The training will go over the following:

  • Intro into ECINS
  • How schools/organisations are expected to use ECINS for multiagency working
  • ECINS dashoard
  • Consent & early help consent form
  • Searching for a child or family
  • Requesting case access
  • Looking at case including assessments, case notes and plans
  • Raising support tickets on ECINS
  • Q and A session


It will be presented by a member of ECINS Support Team (Birmingham Children's Trust).

The training will show a live demo of ECINS, resources will be shared after training and there will be opportunity to ask questions during the session.


Please note this training is aimed at professionals working with children, young people and families in Birmingham under Birmingham Early Help System. We are not linked to Operation Encompass or any other project on ECINS.
