About this event

Science & Tech • Science

Eco-Patterns is creating innovative tools to help land managers, local authorities, ecologists and developers identify and monitor the condition of peatlands using satellite imagery. This scalable solution aims to map:

  • extent of peatlands
  • types of habitats and biodiversity value of peatlands
  • condition of peatland
  • drainage channels
  • peatland restoration features

With a growing number of Peatland Code restoration projects, Eco-Patterns aims to deliver a practical tool for mapping and monitoring, which will reduce the time and cost required for verification surveys.

We’re excited to host an interactive session to gather valuable input from participants. Your insights and discussion will help ensure the tool aligns with stakeholder needs and addresses real-world challenges. We’ll be seeking feedback on its relevance and functionality to guide improvements with the product design.
