Eco Valley Trail
Walk through farmland and downland with views over Arreton Valley exploring Isle of Wight Green energy projects, including the Biomass complex. The walk takes you past historic Merstone manor then walk remnants of an old historic trail then along St Georges Down, descending down past Standen house to the old railway track - now part of the cycle trail – past the disused Blackwater station (closed by Beecham) Led by our Nordic Pole walking instructor.

Walk grade: Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps
Walk Mobility: Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
