Event description

Description

Talk concerning the ecology of British bats, methods of conserving, discussion and examples of bat habitat (this will involve a walk around the land near to basecamp) break for food then partaking in a roost emergence count at basecamp. This will be led by John Hooson Wildlife Advisor for the National Trust in the North West.

There will be a BBQ available to those who are attending.

Room is available to stay at Basecamp for those who need it (i.e. if travelling long distances to attend). There is room for 16 people in one of the Basecamp dormitories with further room to camp outside if required.

Tea/coffee/water will be provided as well as BBQ.
