Description

Economic Prospects

by Juliette Healey, Bank of England

We are excited to welcome Juliette Healey, the Bank of England’s Agent for Yorkshire and Humber, to deliver the 15th annual Economic Prospects lecture. In this ever-popular talk Juliette will cover key issues in the global economy, as well as trends closer to home, including prospects for the UK economy and the implictions for interest rates and other policy measures.

As the Bank’s Agent, Juliette gives policy makers an up to date view of prospects for the UK economy; talking to business leaders from a wide range of firms covering all sectors of the economy. Her view, along with that of her colleagues across the UK, is an important input into both monetary and financial stability deliberations at the Bank of England. Juliette provides a bridge between theoretical economics and the real economy.

This event is open to everyone and will be of particular interest to professionals in financial and professional services, academic colleagues and economics and finance students. Book early to avoid disappointment.
