Located in the heart of London, this event will give students the opportunity to experience what it is like to study at a top 10 university and find out more about studying economics. Lancaster University Management School is a triple accredited business school, highly regarded for our research and graduate employability. I would be grateful if you could use the enclosed poster to promote this event to your students and encourage students to attend event.

This one-day event, on Wednesday 24th June 2015 will be aimed at Year 12 students interested in studying Economics at university. The event will give students a taster of what it is like to study Economics and also give hints and tips about possible careers in economics. There will also be the opportunity to network with current Lancaster students.

The programme for the event will include:
• a discussion of the value of a degree
• a talk on Development Economics
• a talk from the Work Foundation about economics policy
• interactive economics games
• an opportunity to find out more about student life as an economics student at Lancaster
This event is free of charge and open to all students.
