What is the Ecstatic Awakening Dance™ Method?

It's movement without words,  which comes from breath, rhythm and the instinctive expression of your own body. Mainly done with the eyes closed, as you're gently guided through its 5 Stages: Warm-up - The Shake - Ecstatic Dance - Stillness - Grounding.  This is a safe space to explore & experience.

Is this like an aerobic exercise-type class?

No. There are 5 stages to the session; at each stage I’ll give an introduction, and demo the basic technique used BUT there is no right or wrong way to move!
 It’s simply about allowing your own instinctive energy to move you in whatever way it feels and takes shape!

How Do I Prepare/ What Do I Bring?

Accepted Answer

Ideally, eat your main meal 2hrs beforehand. A small snack 30min before starting should be okay.
Remove heavy jewellery/earrings and watches [projectiles].
This session is for you to switch-off, help create this by SILENCING your Smart Devices. Bring a towel - sweat happens - and a bottle of water.
