Join us for an exciting in person event, the Skills, Employment and Wave 7 Skills Bootcamp launch event!!

Learn about the Skills agenda in Cheshire & Warrington, how to inspire the younger generation, support for businesses and learn more about the Skills Bootcamp Programme. Enterprise Cheshire & Warrington have been supporting and delivering the Skills Bootcamp Programme since Wave 3 (F/Y 22/23). Due to our success over the years, our funding has increased year on year. In wave 6 (F/Y 25/26) we were awareded over £10m to spend on adult training across the region. We would like to build upon our Wave 6 success and expand our current provision to give more choice to learners in Cheshire & Warrington.

The agenda will include:

• Skills Bootcamp Overview Wave 6 & 7 (with a panel to include current providers, employers and learners who have benefited from the Programme)
• CEC overview, specifically looking at the ‘Give an hour’ campaign and links with education
• Supporting underrepresented groups – care leavers / Veterans / Ex offenders and probationers
• Collaboration with the DWP
• Growth hub overview – Support for new businesses and self-employed learners
• Networking lunch
