Edge Grounds & Next Futures features paintings by Nigel Ellis (b.1960) and collages by William Harrop (b.1953).

Nigel Ellis attended St Albans, Canterbury, and Chelsea Schools of Art. His paintings explore overlooked spaces where little collisions of nature and nurture happen at tree bases, railway embankments, and path edges - spaces seemingly beneath notice yet models of modesty limitless as skies.

William Harrop studied at Maidstone, Central, and Saint Martin's Schools of Art, grandson of artist Frederick Harrop. His collages fragment, reorientate and recombine newspaper imagery in altered contexts, revealing unforeseen spaces where stories have leached out, creating a revival of the ephemeral.
