Welcome to the Mentor Development Event at the Faculty of Education, Edge Hill University. This in-person event is designed for mentors looking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Join us for a day of interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and insightful discussions. Whether you're a new mentor or have years of experience, this event is perfect for anyone passionate about supporting EHU trainees.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the event suitable for?

The event is suitable for any new or existing mentors who have either supported one of our trainees this year, alternatively, who are considering mentoring a trainee in the next academic year.

Where is the event located?

The event will be held in our Faculty of Education Lakeside building, based on our Ormskirk campus

Is there car parking available?

Yes, free car parking is available on campus. Please could all attendants park on the staff/student car park, located near the Sports Centre, off St Helens Road. Attendants will be provided with a parking permit which will need to be displayed on the day.

Several colleagues from my school would like to attend, can we all book onto the event?

Yes of course, however, we will require information for each attendant when booking your tickets.

Will I be paid for attending the event?

Your school will be reimbursed £300 per delegate, towards supply costs. An invoice from your school will not be required and this will be processed automatically, following your attendance at the event.

Will food and drink be provided?

Yes, breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with refreshments throughout the day
