Edinburgh Black Studies [ALL SEMINARS+BOOK]
Event Information
Description
This short, introductory course on Black studies and the Africana radical tradition is now open for registration. It is open to all people of colour in Scotland -- you don't need to be a student to register. We're so excited to be joined by Black scholars/curators/activists/writers/publishers from around the UK: Kehinde Andrews, Georiga Mae Webster, Guilaine Kinouani, Jessica Brough, Ajamu X and Marlene Smith. If you haven't seen it already, our website is here: ediblackstudies.wixsite.com/home. Please check it for further details on news and updates, individual topics, reading lists, workshops, speakers -- we'll be updating it regularly.
The £60 tuition here includes all seminars and a copy of Kehinde Andrew's Back to Black, which you can have signed at the seminar.
For technical reasons, the Eventbrite lists the date of this course as "January 30th." However, as listed on the website, the lessons are on FEBRUARY 9TH, MARCH 2ND and APRIL 6TH from 10AM to 3PM. As spaces are limited, please sign up here if you are available for all dates. Otherwise, separate tickets are available for individual seminars, links to each one here:

Full payment: Please pay this way if you can. This is paying the £60 tuition, in full, at once.
Deposit: This option is for those who are not able to pay £60 immediately. You will be asked to pay £30 now, and the remaining £30 via bank transfer by March 1st.
Full Scholarship: Thanks to an anonymous donor and other funding sources, we have FULL tuition scholarships for people who are unable to support the £60 tuition of the course.
