You're invited to the June online meeting of the Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Forum - be part of the City's journey to net zero.
About this event
The new Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Forum is a place for community groups and voluntary organisations to discuss the climate and nature emergency and the transformation that needs to happen in Edinburgh - and how all can play a part in delivering that change.
GUEST SPEAKERS
- Gillian Dunn from the Scottish Government will be giving an update on the Investing in Communities Fund and how communities can access it.
- Edinburgh Tool Library Fundraiser Louisa will talk about the current funding landscape and the things Edinburgh organisations can do to access grants, followed by a brief Q&A
This Forum is a space for community groups and voluntary organisations to come together and discuss shared actions, plan and initiate collaborations, exchange resources, learning and skills, coordinate funding bids, access materials and resources, as well as inform strategic decision making.
It provides a means for community groups, voluntary, third sector and organisations to raise issues with our elected representatives on how public bodies are managing their journey to 2030.
