Event description

Description

In a bout of madness the UCL Graters have decided to put on a triple bill Edinburgh preview with two fantastic sketch groups: Shelf and Princes of Main. It's going to be one hell of a night, and best of all it's free.

NOTE: NON-UNIVERSITY OF LONDON STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE SIGNED IN BY A UCL STUDENT

Admin: 7pm doors, 7.30pm show start

UCL GRATERS: SMASHING

The Graters have been used as a nuclear deterrent since 1965, and are considered a national treasure by Ipswich Parish Council. Despite this they remain banned from all reputable high street shops for heavy petting.

“Utterly entertaining” (Savage)
“Cuttingly funny” **** (Threeweeks)

SHELF: BOYS

This is a preview for Shelf's new Edinburgh show, which is called BOYS. It's their first show to be named (or gendered!). Shelf are a comedy double act that take an honest approach to sexuality, mental health, and gender in a "winning hybrid of sketch show and standup" (EdFringe Review)

"...cool and relevant" The Skinny 2016
"...crackling chemistry" The Broad 2016

PRINCES OF MAIN: NEW YEAR'S EVE

2017 is over. Join sketch trio Princes of Main as they pull the plug on a shocking year, starting with the biggest, baddest, dumbest New Year's Eve party ever. In July. Ever.

"Utter genius" **** (Broadway Baby)
"Very bloody funny" ***** Deadline
"The highlight of the night" (The Scotsman)
Comedy Central's Pick of the Fringe 2016.
