About this Event
Ever wondered why Edinburgh looks the way it does today?...or how it came to be Scotland's foremost city? This tour gives you the answers to these questions by looking at some of the key influences that have shaped the city since its foundation almost 900 years ago including trade, industry, royalty, education, identity and more!
Starting in the heart of the ancient Canongate you'll see some of the city's most interesting buildings, from the traditional Scots Tolbooth to Neo-classical monuments, via Victorian breweries and the ultra-modern Scottish Parliament, before finishing on top of Calton Hill with its spectacular panoramic views.
