Free for members of Edinburgh World Heritage, £5 on entry for non-members
Join us on December 7th from 6PM - 8PM for a special Edinburgh World Heritage Christmas celebration at 25, Learmonth Terrace, described by John Gifford as the 'most sumptuous' interior in Edinburgh.
This beautiful house was built for the wine and whisky magnate Arthur Sanderson in 1891-3, and has an extraordinary interior by W. Scott Morton, the famous Edinburgh designer. Each room follows a specific theme, from the Grecian entrance hall, to the Renaissance dining room, the drawing room inspired by Robert Adam, and a guest bedroom in the style of Louis XIII. During the event, you'll have an opportunity to wander through some of the rooms, enjoy drinks and canapés in front of an open log fire, mingle with other members, and meet the team from Edinburgh World Heritage.
With many thanks to Squadron Leader Riley and the team at 603 (Edinburgh) Squadron, The Royal Air Force.
Parking is restricted in the area, so we recommend you come via public transport.
