Event description

Description

Join us on Tuesday December 12th from 6pm – 8pm for a special Edinburgh World Heritage Christmas celebration at St Cecilia’s Hall.

St Cecilia's Hall is Scotland's oldest purpose-built concert hall. Originally built by the Edinburgh Musical Society in 1762, the venue is a real hidden gem, tucked away in the heart of Edinburgh's Cowgate. A recent project in partnership between Edinburgh World Heritage and The University of Edinburgh oversaw a £6.5 million renovation of St Cecilia’s Hall and Music Museum. The Hall is now restored to its previous condition, and represents a building of significant cultural value.

During the event, you'll have an opportunity to enjoy drinks and mince pies, wander through the Laigh Hall, Wolfson Gallery and the magnificent Sypert Concert Room, view a short Edinburgh World Heritage film, and mingle with other members and the team from Edinburgh World Heritage.

£5 for members of Edinburgh World Heritage, £8 for non-members
