EMBL staff, alumni and the wider life science community are invited to meet and discuss the research of EMBL's new Director General, Edith Heard, at a symposium she is organising at the Collège de France on Monday-Tuesday 8-9 April 2019. The symposium will focus on "Biodiversity, Epigenetics and the Environment" and will be held in the Amphithéâtre Guillaume Budé.
The programme includes networking opportunities over coffee and lunch. It is free and open to all without prior registration, although we encourage EMBL alumni to register to better connect with you at the event. Please register to attend by clicking on the "Register" button (above right).
Invited speakers include EMBL staff and alumni as well as experts in this field from across France. They include: Detlev Arendt, Peer Bork, Sylvia Del Monte, Colomban de Vargas, Marie-Anne Felix, Paul Flicek, Thomas Lecuit, Marie Monceau, Helene Morlon, Francois Parcy, Elizabeth Pennisi, Leandro Quadrana, Sylvie Retaux, Ralf Sommer and Detlef Weigel.
