Join us in at Craft Beer Co. Brixton for our editing workshop, followed by aanother writing-focused session.
We will be led by our own Glynn Goodall, english teacher and author, in an editing workshop where we’ll break down the essentials of editing for sci fi & fantasy. We’ll learn practical tools to identify what strengthens your story and what to cut, and how to build an editing plan you can carry forward into future projects.
Following the workshop we will have our regular writing session to focus on whatever you’re working on whether you’re outlining a new idea or deep into your current WIP. This is a space for writers to connect, share ideas, and find inspiration.
Note: While we encourage collaboration and occasional chat we ask everyone be mindful of those focused on writing until 8pm.
We are also offering critique services at these writing sessions. If anyone has something they are working on and would like some feedback on it, please let me know and Glynn will be happy to workshop it with you in person! From personal experience I’ve found Glynn’s feedback invaluable to the development of my own work.
