Event Overview

Looking to grow your education business, learn from the most insightful people in the space and drive new leads? Come down to Edspace and combine business with breakfast.

Join us at 9.00am on the first Thursday of every month for the Edspace Business Growth Series. Learn from the experts and discover tips, tricks and best practices covering everything from 'branding' and 'telesales' through to 'pitching to leadership' and 'developing your teacher referral programmes'.

You will learn about different approaches to growing your start-up, sales strategies that work in an educational context and new ideas for marketing to schools. Past speakers include Daisy Christodoulou (No More Marking), Dominic Norrish (United Learning Trust), Jodie Lopez (lovEdtech), Mike Southon (Beermat Entrepreneur), Graham Hales (Interbrand) – every month, we bring you the people who understand what it takes to build a successful enterprise in education.

Next event: Thursday 4 April – Naimish Gohil, founder and CEO of Satchel

On Thursday 4 April, join us for our monthly Growth Breakfast with Naimish Gohil, founder of Satchel. Satchel (formerly ShowmyHomework) are a living case study in how to take a deep understanding of the problem (Naimish was an assistant head) and create a product and then a whole company that helps classroom management in 1500+ schools.

Naimish will share some of the learnings he and his team had from growing Satchel from an idea into a global company. He will focus on the the building blocks of understanding the problem deeply, the hard yards of building a sales team that can actually sell to schools (many edtech companies build sales teams that fail to do this) and the changes of strategy that Satchel has had to adopt to keep growing.
