Event description

Edspace and Emerge are hosting a workshop for the community to focus on how to sell to Multi Academy Trusts (MAT’s) and what pitfalls to avoid.

Lauren Thorpe, Head of Data & Systems Strategy at Ark MAT, sees first hand every day the mistakes companies in trying to sell to schools. ARK has 38 schools, and edtech companies approach them every day.

Lauren will share some of the learnings of what she sees edtech companies do well (and do badly, sometimes very badly). This webinar literally becomes a list of how to prepare for a sales meeting with a school and a MAT. This is invaluable information even for experienced founders and sales teams as to how they can get it badly wrong without even realising it.

RSVP quickly and let us know …

  1. What is your biggest challenge in school sales?
  2. How many schools do you currently work with?
  3. What is the one thing you want to get out of this session?

About Lauren Thorpe

Lauren has worked for over a decade in schools in Head of Department and Principal positions. She is currently the Head of Data & Systems Strategy at Ark MAT, Education is her passion as is opening up opportunities for the young people who need them the most. About ARK

Ark is an education charity that exists to make sure that all children, regardless of their background, have access to a great education and real choices in life. They have always believed that, with the right approach, every school has the potential to succeed - even those in the most challenging circumstances. From working with just one school, Ark has since grown into a network of 38 schools in the UK - and is now recognised as one of the highest achieving academy groups in the country. We still only work in the communities where we can make the biggest difference to children’s lives, and all our schools are non-selective.
