Event description
Understanding how Learning Analytics delivers enhanced student experience and measurable value for institutions.

About this Event

Join Ian Dunn from Coventry University, Ed Foster from Nottingham Trent University and Helen May from York St John University on 25th November in London to understand how Learning Analytics has delivered enhanced student experience and measurable value to their Institutions.

The promise and potential for Learning Analytics (LA) has long been the topic of much debate among colleagues in the UK HE space; with concerns relating to ethics, data privacy, data integrity and the actual capability of these platforms to deliver any meaningful value; creating much uncertainty and doubt in a sector under pressure. Could LA finally provide UK Universities with a competitive advantage and help them support their students in new and better ways?

Please join Provost Ian Dunn who will be hosting a half-day session looking at, and considering why 3 UK universities have managed to embed and derive meaningful insights and ROI from their investment in these technologies, including a notable improvement in student retention, improved Personal Academic Tutor processes that support the student experience and a significant insight into the value of engagement in addressing the disparity of attainment for our widening access and participation students.
