Erasmus is well known as an student exchange programme, not as known is the funding dimension for International knowledge transfer projects. The European Union is co-funding this way many projects that wouldn't be possible in another way because of otherwise missing funding opportunities.
This event discuss the question of the role of the Third Mission of Universities beside Research and Teaching, the advantages of such activities (research, marketing, societal impact) and the question of funding.
