Event description

Description

As the 21st Century unfolds, we witness the world of work undergoing seismic change. We hear that many roles will be displaced by robots and that our young people will do jobs that haven’t been invented yet. With this in mind, how can education providers offer meaningful and relevant learning experiences that support and equip young people be the best they can be and pursue the future they really want?

We believe Scotland’s Colleges are uniquely placed to be able to make a significant and progressive contribution, if we are brave enough to rethink what they can offer.

This event seeks to explore a range of important questions, including:

  • What do young people really need?

  • What is the future role of Colleges?

  • How can Colleges work more effectively and imaginatively with a range of stakeholders?

The workshop offers an open and equitable space to explore the challenges that young people and educators face, and to start creating a road map for the way forward.

If you are passionate about young people and education, please join us for a morning of discussion, debate and exploration, to create imaginative and innovative possibilities for an education fit for the future.
