Only 7% of teachers are from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, compared to 26% of students. Join Teach First and the African Caribbean Society for a panel event on why this is happening, how we can close this gap and find out how you can start making a difference today.
At our panel event, you will hear our inspirational speakers discuss the challenge of diversity in education and how we can boost the achievement, access and aspirations of children from low-income backgrounds. You will also find out how you can make a difference, both while you’re at university and once you graduate, by joining our movement to end educational inequality.
You will have the opportunity to share your own opinions and put your questions to our panel. Most importantly, you will find out how you can begin addressing this social injustice today.
Places are limited, so sign up now.
