About Visions:

Visions offers an informed overview of the provocative and quick-changing mediums of moving image and performance, presenting works from across the world. Each Visions presents two to three exhibition and event programmes and invites lead artists, renowned for their innovation in the digital field, to head and inspire each one. The ideas of the lead artists support the selection process and set the tone for the wider exhibition.

Artist Rosie Gibbens will lead Programme 1 of Visions.

Rosie makes performances, videos, sculptures and photographs that feature her body. Using absurd humour, she explores the slippery overlaps between identity, labour and consumer desire. Gibbens brings to Visions her intrigue in the technologically augmented body and will present her work and the films selected from the open call in an installation that will take over the gallery.

There will be refreshments and snacks provided throughout the private viewing.

The CPD workshop is open to all levels of experience and all materials are provided.
