Effective Mentoring for Natural England staff ONLY
This 3.5 hour virtual course is suitable for anyone mentoring a colleague, whether that be a line manager, colleague passing on skills and knowledge or someone supporting a new colleague into a team or new job.
Course Overview
The workshop includes a recording of an 8-minute mentoring conversation that demonstrates good practice when a learner seems to be disengaged. It is practical course and delegates will be asked to mentor using different approaches. The course provides pre learning activities and reading, it also provides post learning activities and reading and includes a reflection journal.

Session 1: Skills, roles and setting up successful mentoring.
Session 2: Practicing different approaches to mentoring.
Session 3: Assessing the mentoring.
