Learning outcomes for participants: Knowledge of new developments and what has changed in primary care based adult mental health services. Ideas about different ways of working and system changes needed to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Outcome for wider system: Information and learning will be collated into a short brochure which will be circulated widely.

Expected service outcomes: Improved management of mental health in primary care

Increased awareness and uptake of the primary care mental health services

Decreased referrals to secondary care mental health for people who only need outpatient services

Improved coordination and smoother journeys for adults with mental health issues
