Event description

Description

Driver Youth Trust would like to invite our partner schools and other schools in the region to join us in exploring the research on Teaching Assistants and looking at key findings from projects such as 'Maximising TAs' and the Education Endowment Foundation. Information on what works and the challenges schools face will be presented and the opportunity for discussion with other schools welcomed.

This FREE event is meant for anyone working in schools, from TAs to Classroom Teachers, from Headteachers to SENCos and Literacy Leads.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences and keeping up to date with recommended practice, join Richard Selfridge and Nancy Gedge, our key facilitators and consultants of the Drive for Literacy programme in Yorkshire on the 30th November 2017 (4-6pm) at Manor Church of England Academy in Poppleton.

Driver Youth Trust provides the means for schools to embed our flagship programme, Drive for Literacy (DfL), with the aim of improving the literacy outcomes for those learners with emerging literacy skills and SEND, such as dyslexia. It is based on a whole school approach and encourages collaboration with all stakeholders and other schools.

If you would like to know more about our work or have any questions regarding the event, email us at info@driveryouthtrust.com or call us at 02030 967711.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon.
